Umm Al Quwain Fort & National Museum

Built in 1768, this fort was once the residence of the ruling Al Mualla family. Today, it stands as a beautifully restored museum in the “Old Souq” area. It houses artifacts from the nearby Ed-Dur archaeological site, ancient weapons, and a specialized room for royal documents and gifts.

Best For: History buffs and cultural tourists.

Opening Hours: Sat–Thu: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM; Fri: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Restrictions: * Modesty: Visitors should dress respectfully (shoulders and knees covered).

Photography: Flash is prohibited in some artifact galleries.
