One of the world’s largest dhow-building centers. This is a “living museum” where craftsmen continue to build traditional wooden sailing vessels using tools and techniques passed down through generations. You can see the skeleton of these massive boats being hand-assembled by the shore.

Best For: Maritime buffs and photographers.

Opening Hours: Visible from the outside 24/7; best visited during daylight (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) to see craftsmen at work.

Restrictions: * It is an active workshop; visitors should keep a safe distance from heavy machinery and wood-cutting areas.

Permission may be needed for professional photography.

Boat Watching: Witness the construction of both traditional wooden dhows and modern fiberglass racing boats.
