Khorfakkan Beach & Amphitheatre
Though located on the East Coast, Khorfakkan is an enclave of Sharjah. It features a stunning crescent-shaped beach, a massive Roman-style outdoor amphitheater, and a 45-meter tall man-made waterfall carved into the mountain.
Best For: Day-trippers from Dubai/Sharjah city and outdoor lovers.
Opening Hours: Amphitheatre exterior/Waterfall: 24/7; Beach: Sunrise to Sunset (for swimming).
Restrictions: * Swimming in the sea is prohibited after sunset.
BBQs are only allowed in designated areas, not on the main beach sand.
Activities:
Waterfall Viewing: Take photos by the “Al Shalal” waterfall.
Hiking: Climb the Al Rabi Tower trail for a breathtaking view of the bay.
Water Sports: Jet skiing and parasailing are popular at the northern end of the beach.
